A removals firm, run the way we'd want one run for us
We move people around London and out of it — flats, houses, offices, and the occasional piano that has to come down a staircase it was never carried up.
There isn't much to say about badges and milestones, so we won't pretend otherwise. What we can tell you is how the work is done, which is the part that decides whether moving day is a good one.
We price it ourselves
Every quote is worked out by a person who has read your details, not produced by a calculator that has never seen your street. You get a figure in writing before you commit to anything, and the figure we confirm is the one you pay unless the job genuinely changes — in which case we talk to you first, not afterwards.
Nothing goes on the van unwrapped
Blankets over furniture, corner protection on the edges, straps so nothing shifts on the road, floors covered at both ends. It isn't a line you add to the quote — it is how the job is done, on every job, including the small ones.
The access is planned before the day
Most of what goes wrong on a move is logistical and knowable in advance: a lift that needs booking, a red route with nowhere legal to stop, a stairwell a wardrobe will not turn in. We ask about those when you enquire so that moving day is not the first time anyone has thought about them.
Say so if something is wrong
Tell the crew on the day and it gets photographed and logged before they leave. We would far rather hear about a problem while we are still standing in your hallway than a fortnight later — it is easier to put right, and we'd like the chance to.
Ace UK Removals Ltd is a limited company registered in England and Wales. If there is something you want to know that isn't answered here, ask us directly — we would rather tell you than have you guess.
