Can you move a single item of furniture?
Yes — single items are fine, with no minimum load. A sofa, a wardrobe or a bed on its own is a normal booking, not a favour.
What if the furniture will not fit through the door?
We dismantle where we can, and where a piece genuinely will not clear the stairs we rig a window hoist. We have turned three-seaters through Notting Hill basements and Peckham stairwells that had inches to spare.
Do you assemble flat-pack furniture?
We do — IKEA and flat-pack assembly is available as an add-on, levelled and tidied at the destination rather than left in a box.
How is the furniture protected in transit?
Transit blankets over everything, corner protectors on tables and units, stretch wrap on anything upholstered. It is wrapped before it leaves the room, strapped in layers so the load cannot shift on the road, and carried by a trained crew.
Can you take away furniture I no longer want?
We can arrange disposal or a charity drop on request, so the old sofa does not end up back in your new hallway.
